BIG fan of the sparkly words and stars in the Workshop Complements with this one:
SPARKLY SPIDERWEBS:
This little guy is my favorite part of the whole layout:

KL October Scrapbook Sketch
Yay!
New printable and scrapbook sketch time at Kiwi Lane!!!
To see the sketch and print the printable, visit Kiwi Lane's blog HERE.
Here is my sample:
Yes, I used my new favorite Close To My Heart Halloween paper AGAIN!
I kept the basic photo layout of the sketch, but added a few more chevrons to my background:
LOVE that I can use the templates to see how things will look before wasting pretty paper... not that ANYONE has ever done that I'm sure!
I only used part of the printable:
Sketches and printables are such a great springboard for creativity!!!
Visit Kiwi Lane's blog, make your own, and enter to WIN!

October Layouts
I LOVED this paper so much I made 2 layouts for my Close To My Heart Scrapbooking Group!!!
On both layouts we used the Jeepers Creepers Paper Packet, the Jeepers Creepers Compliments, and the Jeepers Creepers Washi Tape... which conveniently all come together in the Jeepers Creepers Workshop Kit!
Layout #1:
SUCH cute monsters!!!
Layout #2:
Definitely a sucker for sparkly black embellishments!
It's good that I am "forced" to scrapbook at least once a month!

Nevermore for Chantre
Due to my inability to function during a few days of mass craziness, my Aunt Chantre only gets 2 card ideas this time!
We used the Nevermore Paper Packet, the Silver Metallic Tape, the Silver Sequins, and the Little Monsters stamp set.
Card #1:
Card #2:
Not super happy with my coloring on the little witch girl... but not bad for a crazy person!
Good luck Chantre!!!

October Layout
Ummm... oops!
Here is the layout my Close To My Heart scrapbooking group ALREADY made... since it's late October...:
We used the Nevermore Paper Packet, Silver Metallic Tape, and Silver Sequins. LOVE the new Silver Metallic Tape!!!
These are still some of my favorite letter stamps ever made:
Any day I get to use my matching Martha Stewart spider web punches is a GOOD day:
The pictures going on this one are a group of disgusting snails attacking the pretty pumpkin on the front porch that my daughter painstakingly painted to look like a silver spider web... ew...
Anyway, Happy almost Halloween!!!

KL Scrapbook Sketch #10
It's layout sketch time at Kiwi Lane!!!
Go to their blog HERE to see how to WIN!
I LOVE Halloween, so I LOVE this sketch:
And here is my layout:
Yes, I know my "cookies" are messy. They are supposed to match the 3-year-old's cookies in the pictures...
They actually took a SURPRISING amount of time to make:
First I traced my Kiwi Lane templates and cut them out like normal. Then I traced another time and cut wiggly just inside the shape for my "frosting". I inked both edges to make them stand out. Finally I grabbed my Liquid Glass, enamel dots, Pearl Pens, and micro beads and just went nuts! Repeat...
Perfect toddler Halloween Cookies!!!
Go make your own!

KL Card Sketch #10
Woo Hoo!!!
TWO card sketches up on Kiwi Lane today!
Visit their blog HERE to participate and WIN!
Here is sketch #1:
Here is my sample:
I changed it up a little bit... this came together SO FAST!!! Love my Kiwi Lane templates and Close To My Heart stamps!
Just the right amount of dimension on this one:
Mail-able but not flat!
Here is sketch #2:
Here is my sample:
I really liked this sketch just the way it was! Very clean and pretty!
A bit more dimension on this one:
I learned that when you line a shape with bakers twine you don't have to add foam dots... it pops up all by itself!

HAPPY (late) HALLOWEEN!
I LOVE Halloween! I do!
I do NOT love this 3-week-cold!
It may be time to give up and go to the doctor...
Anyway, here is the Kiwi Lane Basic Sketch that inspired my late Halloween card:
And here is my card:
I REALLY like it!!! I used some super old Close To My Heart paper and some new Close To My Heart stamps. I also tried out my alcohol markers for the first time:
I totally copied this from an AMAZING consultant whom I now stalk. She has tons of tutorials on how to color with these markers and make skulls-in-a-jar! Visit her blog HERE to be blown away.
After all my cute coloring I figured I just needed some dimension and it would be perfect:
Ta-da!
Seriously, go learn to color and then enter for yourself at Kiwi Lane's Facebook page!
Happy skulls!
