I know these aren't some of my fanciest layouts, but sometimes it's nice to JUST SCRAPBOOK for scrapbooking's sake!!!

Check out their blog HERE to see tons of other great ideas!

MWM Marigold #8

I really am going to participate in more of these Mid Week Mojo sketches from Scrapbook Steals!!!

I'm not working anymore, so I need to WIN my spending money now...

Here is their Marigold #8 sketch:

And here is my 2page version:

Just had to use a few more Out On A Limb cutouts from my ever-growing stash! Darn them and their adorably perfect themes!!!

Visit Scrapbook Steals' site HERE to see cute ideas and be tempted to spend money... or hopefully to WIN it like me ;)

MWM Marigold #1

I'm participating in the very first sketch of a series!

Go me!!!

Here is Scrapbook Steals' Mid Week Mojo sketch Marigold #1:

And here is my 2-page version:

Yep, couldn't resist getting MORE cutouts from Out On A Limb...

Plus I had the PERFECT chocolate chip cookie paper:

AND melting chocolate chips paper:

Also who can resist Cookie Monster?!

MWM Orchid #10

Stupid Bronchitis!!!

I am getting NOTHING done!

I forced myself to finish just this one little layout because tomorrow is my birthday and I need to do JUST ONE THING fun while I'm coughing my lungs out...

Anyway, here is Scrapbook Steals' Mid Week Mojo Orchid #10 sketch:

And here is my of course 2-page version:

Darn Out On A Limb had a sale again, so I just had to make the layout work around my new ice cream cut-outs:

The title didn't stand a chance against my super busy background! I added strips of white paper lined in pink pen and then attacked the letters with my sparkle ink:

MUCH better!!!

Make sure to visit Scrapbook Steals blog HERE for tons of cute stuff!

Here's to another fun filled night of cough attacks!

MWM Lily #10

I HAD to do at least one of the Scrapbook Steals Lily series Mid Week Mojo on time!

My DAUGHTER'S name is Lily!!!

Here is the sketch:

And here is my of course 2-page version:

I have been waiting for an excuse to use my new train cutouts from Out On A Limb and here is it!!! I even have pictures all ready and waiting to put on!

Seriously, how cute is this title:

When I'm feeling ambitious (or guilty because I own a bazillion stamps I don't use) I like to stamp my journaling:

Yep, it takes QUITE a while! Every time I power through I end up loving the look, though, and my stamps are WAY cuter than my handwriting... so I'll keep "wasting" time doing it!

Go visit the Scrapbook Steals blog HERE to find out all about their Mid Week Mojo contests!

Great Gardenia!

Over at Scrapbook Steals they have a weekly Mid-Week-Mojo sketch contest. Once a run of 10 is complete, there is a GRAND PRIZE for everyone who finished all 10 sketches!

Well I actually finished on time!

Here are my 2-page versions of all 10 Gardenia sketches:

Honestly I LOVE looking back at a whole bunch of cute accomplishments! Sketches with a deadline "force" me to carve out scrapbooking time... and that is happy time!

Wish me luck!

Gardenia #3-#5

I'm not sure why it took me so long to finish these last 3... but here they are!

Gardenia #3:

My layout:

Finally one of the last Father's and Son's layouts! I REALLY stretched my Paper Loft paper! I stamped my little peeps-on-a-stick with an old Close To My Heart Easter set.

Gardenia #4:

My layout:

I never think of layout ideas like this on my own! That's why I LOVE sketches!!! It forces me out of my comfort zone and in this case I love the result!

Gardenia #5:

My layout:

This one started as an Out On A Limb page kit. It was cute by itself, but with a little extra paper and a different layout it turned out even BETTER! This is my first time chopping a title in half... I'll have to do it again!

And now to enter the Grand Gardenia Contest!
