July Layouts

For July my scrapbook club is doing double paper packets!

First up, the Pemberly paper:

I wasn't too excited about this paper at first (dainty floral doesn't really match my kids...) but I love the colors!

We are using the Honey Mini Medley Accents pack and the Color Ready Wooden Shapes. I really like the wooden shapes, but be warned: the colors turn out a lot darker and a little yellow-cast when you ink them!

Up last, the Superhero paper:

I wanted to do something a little more generic with this paper, so we are making July 4th pages instead of superhero pages.

I have had this poem marked in my Shel Silverstein book for FOREVER waiting to use on a page! I love it! Add some stamped Dimensional Elements Stars and poof! Done!

Both layouts were heavily inspired by the beyond-talented Amber Packer. Visit her blog HERE to see the most amazing scrapbook pages and home decor.

If you are bored in July in Utah County, come scrap with us!

Happy Father's Day... yesterday

Here is what we gave our Dads for Father's Day yesterday:

A bunch of bullets and a card! They liked it. It was my husband's idea to tie it all up with Duct Tape "ribbon". Lovely and manly ;)

This card is based on the one in the Victory Workshop On The Go from Close To My Heart. Love the workshops!

I am entering this in the Heart 2 Heart Father's Day challenge. Go to their blog HERE to see lots of creative ideas and enter something dad-ish of your own!

Happy Father's Day!

Circle Cards

Wow, sorry it's been awhile!

But now that my photo-editing software is functional again, (yay!) here are some circle cards:

There are little "enjoy"s stamped on the edge... hopefully you can see... I said I got my photo-editing program back, not that I was good at it! ;)

The inside says "... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."

I used a really-long-time-ago retired paisley stamp to make the flower.

Love that I can bend Close To My Heart stamps to follow a circle!

This is my favorite circle pattern in the Wishes card book! The stars around the edge are a straight border stamp, just bent again for the circle.

Thanks for peeking!
