Documented Layout

YAY!!!

Caught up!

Well, pretty much. My Close To My Heart scrapbook group just made this layout last month and we haven't met yet this month... so I'm counting it!

Here was August's layout:

We used the Documented Workshop for this one. It's just PRETTY! That's all I really need to say!

The workshop came with flower stickers, wooden title words, kraft flowers, and colored dots! Definitely no need to add anything else!

I didn't shy away from the girly-ness on this one! One last flower fling before the holidays!

Maybe it will finally cool off...

Central Park Layout

No, not the ACTUAL Central Park in New York...

I wish!

Back in July my Close To My Heart scrapbooking group made this layout with the Central Park Workshop:

SOOO bright and FUN! Definitely Summer! Definitely NOT how I feel about Summer... but good for most people!

Do you see the little shiny vellum accents?! Comeback time!

Yes, I am old enough and have been scrapbooking long enough to know that vellum is certainly NOT a new item!

I have a love-hate relationship with vellum. It looks awesome, but man is it a pain to glue! EVERYTHING shows through!!! If you have a glue that actually hides under vellum please let me know...

Fresh Air Layout

Finally!

I'm catching up enough to know when things happened!

I KNOW my Close To My Heart scrapbooking group made this layout in June because my original thought was a Father's Day something... but I'm glad it turned into this instead:

More whole-family oriented! We used just the Fresh Air Workshop with minimal embellishments:

You can't tell in the pictures, but the copper colored title and trees are shiny! And the little trees are real wood! Very appropriate for an outdoor layout. There is some green burlap-ish ribbon hiding in the back here, too:

Sometimes I just really like how layouts turn out with a plain white background! This was obviously one of those times...

Beautiful Friendship Layout

Ok, this paper only retired last month, so I'm sloooowly catching up...

Since it says "Spring" in the title, I'm guessing my Close To My Heart scrapbooking group probably made this one around April/May ish...

We used the Beautiful Friendship Workshop and my new favorite flower alphabet stamp colored in with alcohol markers:

The workshop even came with chipboard flowers! You know how I love a good flower cluster:

We used a Kiwi Lane Border Template to make the curvy edges for the banner, gathered a bit of ribbon along the edge, and dotted some pink Peal Pen between the triangles.

It sounds like a lot, but really the embellishments went pretty quickly! And it adds SO much to the overall look!

Stargazer Layout

Another oldie!

Again, long retired paper, but oh-so-cute!

My Close To My Heart scrapbooking group made this fun layout using just the Stargazer Workshop awhile ago:

Sooooo perfect for pictures of my son's space-themed Scouting adventures!

I didn't want to use up ALL of the cute blue planet paper on one page, so I cut strips and mitered the corners around the edges:

Kinda went crazy with my circle cutter... but it totally works on this layout! Looks like planets and stars!

It's so refreshing to see awesome BOY paper every once in awhile!

Making Waves Layout

Catch up time again!

Not a clue when my Close To My Heart scrapbooking group worked on this layout and the papers are long expired 2 catalogs ago... but it's WAY cute so here it is:

Loved this paper! All we used was the Making Waves Workshop; not even any stamping on this one!

Tip for the day:
When you have a sticky something that will go on top of your photo but your photo is not ready, just leave a scrap of the sticker paper on that part:

Yes it looks goony in photographs, but then you don't have to ruin the sticker peeling it up later!

Such cute paper! I am loving all the mermaid stuff this Summer!

Still HATE Summer itself, but the mermaids are nice...
